He was admitted to the Tennessee and Georgia Bar in 2010 after graduating from Vermont Law School in 2009. While attending Vermont Law, Sherriff was an elected member of Phi Alpha Delta and the Black Law Students Association Executive Boards and participated in many on campus groups including the Mentor program for first year students. Upon graduation, Sherriff moved back to the Nashville area to serve the people of Middle Tennessee.  After a couple years in private practice, he took a position with the Walton County Government and later returned to Nashville.  His service has been in the areas of criminal law, family law, personal injury, estate planning, and civil litigation.  In his years of practice Sherriff has zealously fought to protect the rights of his clients.
