McCreary’s
One of downtown Franklins most notable St. Patrick’s Day celebration locations is McCreary’s. Serving go to Irish foods like cabbage, and cottage pie make for an authentic St. Patrick’s day experience.
Natasha Hendrix the now owner of the neighborhood pub knows from the ground up what it takes to keep such an atmosphere going. She used to work as a server for the original owners back when the bar first opened. Then in 2009 took over operations and became the owner herself. For the most part Hendrix has kept everything the same except for the additions to the weekend breakfast menu. Stop by sometime and experience everything this neighborhood Irish Pub has to offer.

McNamaras Irish Pub and Restaurant
Sean McNamara after years of preforming at other Irish pubs decided to do it himself and open up his own. In 2010 he opened up McNamara’s. A pub focused on high customer service, quality food and great live music. Keeping all of this quality and excitement at an affordable price is also something important to McNamara. This attention to detail is what has made this place a local’s hangout. Serving Irish dishes like bread pudding, and Irish nachos keeps people coming back for more. Check out the live events calendar on their website to see exactly what is going on this week inside the locals go to spot.
