The guard from Tennessee Jaden Springer is heading to the league. Springer announced Monday that he is signing with an agency and declaring for the 2021 NBA draft. This coming after his freshman season.
Within his announcement he also thanked head coach for Tennessee Rick Barnes. He also thanks the team’s staff and most importantly the fans. He thanked them for allowing him to be a part of the team and all the support they gave to him. Springer also added it was an honor to be apart of the Volunteers.
Tennessee lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at the hands of Oregon State. This coming after a 18-9 season. Springer led the team in scoring averaging 12.5 points per game and shot 45% from the 3-point line. He ranked ninth in the Southeastern Conference shooting 81.0% at the line. ESPN predicts that Springer should go 7th in the draft.
